BGEN Training Days and Conferences
Each year BGEN holds a number of special training workshops as well as an annual conference.
These aim to support members’ delivery of learning within their own settings by providing a high quality programme of continuing professional development that covers the wide spectrum of learning activities.
Events are open to both members and non-members; but members pay a reduced fee so join us to access this and other benefits.

Being held at Durban Botanic Gardens (South Africa) 1-5 November 2009. The title of the conference is ‘Action learning: places, spaces and partnerships for biodiversity and human well-being.’ There are four conference themes:
• Achieving the GSPC and MDGs through education
• Ways of learning towards environmental justice
• Climate change and botanic gardens: interpretation for action
