Gruene Schule, Botanic Garden Innsbruck

Since 2000, the University Botanical Garden Innsbruck has been offering special programmes for children, young adults, and other communities of interest (e.g. trainee teachers, adults, families). Different programmes are available focusing on innovative teaching methods. Partnership with other institutions (Climate Alliance, Council of Agriculture, Tiroler Landesmuseum, Ecoforsights Austria) culminate in various interdisciplinary educational programmes.

BGEN has more than 200 members around the UK. Individual members are often professionals working for organisations such as botanic gardens and zoos. Members also come from public parks and gardens, schools and universities, and individual consultancies. Profiles of each of our member organisations are included in the sections below.
